Learning how to welcome our new overlords

What do the fastest growing languages in American college classrooms have in common? Well, Korean, Arabic, and Chinese are all languages spoken by some very troublesome countries.

But perhaps I'm being pessimistic. Korean is also spoken in South Korea, a trading and business partner of growing importance, and Mandarin and Arabic also seem to offer economic opportunities.

Now if only this translated into people learning about Korean culture, this Seoulite and Korean Studies academic could earn some coin from America's newfound interest in the Land of Morning Calm.
